The Ninja World As Of Now

The World
It has been 40 years since the fifth great ninja war. During the large time span, a couple of things have happened. One, technology within the ninja world has advanced greatly, and the ways of transportation have as well. This includes planes, which are only used for battle, and for the civilians, they are provided with trains that transport throughout their respective villages. The ninjas still operate on foot, for stealth reasons, but when in major events such as war, or simply a feud with another village, they will be transported by plane and drop down from the sky. Secondly, Naruto is dead, and he's been dead for a long time. Don't ask why, don't question it, don't argue it, because he's dead. So is killer bee, and all of the other Jinchuuruki. The reason they're dead shall remain unknown for the time being. The tailed beasts were claimed by the villages that once owned them. Since reclaiming them, ten years after the war was over, the Cloud village attacked the Rain village with the use of Hachibi and Nibi. That was what started the string of off and on feuds between villages, and it has continued until this very day. The only two villages unaffected it by it are Konohagakure, and Sunagakure, managing to stay uncorrupted from the outside world.


Konohagakure
In the village of Konoha, the Sarutobi are now a dominant Super Power. They have led themselves to believe that they are the foundation of Konoha, and the whole nation of fire itself. The Heads of the Sarutobi Clan are also the heads of the high council within Konoha, basically controlling the Hokage, and trying to control the Fire Daiymo. Anything within authority is owned, or apart of the Sarutobi. The village basically belongs to them, and no one can truly oppose their orders, because all of their orders are followed through by the Hokage. The only opposing force in the nation of fire are the many Shinobi that live there, but the Sarutobi haven't made themselves known about their actions. Only few villagers know the truth, and those are some of the elder members of the society, who once were alive during Naruto's time, or were once notable members of Konohagakure no Sato.


Sunagakure
It's advanced the most in the ninja world, when it comes to architecture. There are many sky scrapers and apartment buildings, and the ninja academy is about the size of the average high school. The buildings are now made of bricks, reinforced by the same metal used on Kunai and Shuriken. These were specially made by the noble clan of artisans that live within Sunagakure. It costed a hefty amount of money, but it was for well being of the citizens to protect their homes better from the massive winds that began to occur in these recent years. The only thing bad about about Sunagakure is the weather, they have tornado like winds on the regular, and during the summer, it's hotter that horny succubus pussy. During the winter, the weather can sometimes be unpredictable, whether it be sunny and humid, or cold and windy, you just don't know. Although, Sunagakure is viewed as one of the ideal places to live due to the war on the outside, or the domination in Konoha.
